We know that life happens. Between kids, careers, family obligations, caring for pets, hobbies and friends, life is complicated! There isn't always time to take a class when you have a limited amount of time. Students here at IBAW work at their own speed in an environment that is encouraging and empowering, allowing you to reach your highest good!

Hi, I’m Lady Ivy Blackthorn!
I love teaching. I especially love teaching about Witchcraft, Paganism, and Spirituality. I have been a teacher of Witchcraft and Spirituality since 2011, and have been on my own personal spiritual path since 2008. I have a background in Wicca as well as foundations in Traditional Witchcraft, Celtic Paganism, 1734 American Witchcraft among others.
I received my first ordination through The Firefly House based in Washington DC, and my second through The Wild Blackthorn Coven and Grove located in Orlando, Florida in 2016. I then received my High Ordination as a High Priestess in 2019. After graduating college, I formed my coven, The Spiral Oak, in 2021 alongside my High Priest and best friend Lord Lughaith. In addition to these credentials I am also a Reiki Master Healer, as well as a professional Tarot Reader and nondenominational Minister.
In my mundane life, I am a mom to 3 beautiful children, a wife to a wonderful and supportive husband, and a proud and out member of the LGBTQIA+ community. I hold a Bachelors of Education from the University of Central Florida, and have worked as a preschool and grade school teacher for ages 12mos.-13 years.
This unique blend of skills has brought me here, to open my own online academy of Witchcraft and Pagan Studies so I can help guide the new generation of witches!
